Here at South Farm, we are dedicated to putting you first at each and every stage of your journey. Located in breathtaking surroundings in the Hertfordshire countryside, we offer a wide choice of spaces in which to hold your wedding, and are fully licensed for civil ceremonies.
What do we offer?
As we mentioned, we have a choice of five spaces for your big day, each of which is fully licensed and ready to go.
1) The Drawing Room
With a capacity for up to 35 guests, the Drawing Room is the perfect option for a rustic, country house wedding – soak up the charm of the exposed brickwork and wood-panelled walls, while taking in views over the rolling countryside. Best of all, the Drawing Room contains a roaring open fire, making it the perfect choice for a cosy winter wedding.
2) The Horse Barn
The Horse Barn is a slightly larger venue and can hold up to 65 of your nearest and dearest, making it a great choice if you have plenty of guests to share your special day. Bring rustic charm and modern convenience together in one space, with our amazing glass floor being the real centrepiece here – ideal for dancing the night away once the vows are exchanged.
3) The Summer House
If you are looking for a chance to take in the stunning surrounding countryside, the Summer House is the perfect pick. Situated in stunning gardens, this venue can seat up to 146 guests for a larger event and is the perfect option for a gorgeous wedding set against truly stunning landscapes. It should be noted that the Summer House is only available from March to October, so you might be especially likely to consider it for a summer wedding.
4) The Old Dairy
Another great option for those looking for an outdoor-style wedding is the Old Dairy, which can hold up to 100 guests, and is guaranteed to look its very best all year round. The key feature here is the sun terrace, which allows you to take in the amazing views, and watch the sun go down as you transition from day to night. It is, then, a wonderful option for those looking to bring the outdoors in.
5) The Tudor Barn
