Join us at a freelance networking event in London!

Most of the time we sit behind our computer screens, publishing articles we hope you’ll enjoy and benefit from. But occasionally we get the chance to meet some of you face-to-face.

And on Thursday 29 May, we’re hosting a free networking event for female freelancers in London with PCG, the largest association of independent professionals in the EU – and we’d love to meet you there.

The aim of the event is to bring together female freelancers in a relaxed environment with a drinks reception. It’s also a chance for you get get some expert advice on starting or managing your freelance career.

Why are we hosting this event?

By coming together we can share tips and advice on how to strengthen our careers. This may include thinking about and discussing:

  • What it means to be a woman in freelancing
  • How to better market yourself
  • Rates of pay
  • Issues facing freelancers
  • Finding new career opportunities
  • Advice to new women in freelance 

Who are PCG?

PCG is a not-for-profit organisation representing freelancers and contractors from every sector. Founded by a community of independent workers, they have become an authority on freelancing in the UK.

PCG dedicate their work to improving the outlook for those working in freelance by having a voice in government and industry.

The event will be held on Thursday, 29 May at Chancery Lane’s Club Workspace. However, spaces are strictly limited, so if you want to come along, we suggest you book now to secure your place!

The nearest train station to the event is Farringdon (London) Rail Station, and the nearest tube station is Chancery Lane.
