Interview with Rylee Werbiski, founder of Heal With Rylee

Find out how her own own personal growth and transformation inspired Rylee Werbiski to launch Heal With Rylee, a new approach to skin, beauty, and wellness – inside and out.

What is your career background?

I’ve spent years in the holistic skincare industry, initially building a successful studio called Sound Skincare. My approach combined advanced skincare treatments rooted in Corneotherapy with emotional healing work, helping clients improve their appearance while also addressing the deeper emotional layers connected to their skin.

In 2020, a pivotal life event prompted me to deepen my own healing journey, leading me to explore coaching and earn additional certifications as a Life Coach, Core Energy Coach, and Somatic trauma-informed practitioner, all of which helped me redefine my purpose and approach to wellness.

Where did the idea for your business come from?

The idea for my business, Heal With Rylee, evolved from my own personal growth and transformation. I started in skincare but realized that true healing runs deeper than just the surface level, and also that our faces reveal so much about our stories and wellbeing.

My own healing journey taught me the real meaning of belonging in my own skin – I wanted to create a space where women could reconnect with themselves, not only to heal their skin but also to embrace who they truly are at their core. This led me to merge holistic healing practices with skin care, offering a comprehensive approach to wellness that addresses both the outer and inner aspects of beauty.

What’s your USP?

My unique approach combines Corneotherapy-based skincare with face reading and life coaching. By addressing both physical skin health and the emotional stories embedded in our faces, I guide clients to heal from the inside out.

This integration of skincare, emotional wellbeing, and personal development has proven to offer deeper, more lasting transformations, moving beyond surface-level solutions to create true alignment, a deep sense of belonging and radiant confidence.

What can you tell about someone from their facial characteristics?

One of the first things I look at is the eye area – this can be particularly revealing about one’s emotional depth, how they connect with others as well as their overall wellness.

Meanwhile, the forehead might give clues about their thought patterns and relationship with their past (ancestral or trauma). Additionally, eyebrows could indicate energy levels and approach to challenges – with thicker eyebrows suggesting higher physical energy (jing).

My free face-reading guide available here provides more info for anyone looking to understand how the features of our faces can reveal deeper insights into our emotions, energy, and inner truth.

Who’s your target audience?

My primary audience consists of women in their 30s to 50s who are looking for holistic alternatives to quick fixes.

These women are usually in transitional stages of life – whether navigating a new decade, facing big changes, or feeling a lack of belonging in their skin (and in the world) – and are ready to commit to themselves fully. They are interested in natural beauty rituals and want to explore the emotional and energetic connections that shape their wellbeing.

How do you spread the word about what you do?

I spread the word about my work through a combination of PR, social media (mostly Instagram), email newsletters, Substack articles and word-of-mouth referrals. I also host monthly live calls where I offer free consultations and engage with potential clients. This year, I’m looking to reach more people by expanding into group coaching programs and podcasts.

What’s been the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome?

One of the most significant challenges I faced was pivoting from being known solely for my skincare expertise to positioning Heal With Rylee as a holistic wellness practice. This transition involved rebranding, shifting how I communicated with clients, and finding ways to integrate coaching and face reading services without alienating existing skincare clients.

Overcoming this obstacle has been a powerful lesson in adaptability and authenticity, ultimately strengthening my business and its ability to make a genuine impact.

And your proudest moment so far?

For me personally, it is seeing how my clients’ lives have transformed through my integrated approach of skincare and emotional healing. The positive feedback and lasting changes in their skin, energy, and overall well-being show me that taking my business in this new direction was 100% the right thing to do. The growth and evolution of Heal With Rylee into a thriving community that prioritizes deep, lasting transformation is incredibly fulfilling.

Why is work so important to you?

Work is my way of serving others and helping them reconnect with their authentic selves. It’s a passion that stems from my own journey and values of healing, growth, and self-discovery.

My work allows me to guide others in overcoming their challenges, whether physiological, emotional, or energetic, and to help them experience true self- worth, belonging and empowerment. It’s about more than just a career – it’s a mission to create lasting change in people’s lives.

Who inspires you?

I’m inspired by women who embrace vulnerability and authenticity. They’re not afraid to go through their own healing process and are willing to face their truth, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. These women are often the ones who transform not only their own lives but also those of the people around them. I’m also inspired by the leaders in the wellness space who pave the way for integrative practices and holistic approaches to healing.

What are your three top pieces of advice for someone wanting to do something similar?

  1. Trust the process: Healing and growth don’t happen overnight. Embrace the journey and trust that every challenge or setback is part of the bigger picture.
  2. Stay authentic: Don’t try to fit into a mold or follow someone else’s path. Your unique voice and perspective are your greatest assets.
  3. Focus on impact over perfection: The true measure of success is the positive difference you can make in people’s lives. Forget about striving for perfection – make sure your work resonates with your audience and serves their deeper needs.
