Interview with Jaz Amaw-Farr – how to be 10% braver

What would your life be like if you were just 10% braver? And what one thing can you do right now to be 10% braver?

This is just one inspiring tip that Jaz Ampaw-Farr shared with us in our video interview. And Jaz should know – all her life she’s lived bravely.

Jaz grew up in poverty, neglected and abused by her own parents, destined to become a statistic. However, her story was changed by a handful of teachers who made the point of putting human connection first (as she reveals in her popular TED talk The Power of Everyday Heroes).

Since then, Jaz has embraced opportunities that have taken her well out of her comfort zone, such as appearing on The Apprentice, and on the BBC spelling show, Hard Spell Abbey, which she worked on as educational advisor, writer and co-presenter.

Today former teacher Jaz delivers inspirational keynotes, interactive workshops and transformative coaching to help you move from where you are to where you want to be.

Watch our video interview with Jaz to find out why she believes we need to be brave enough to step outside our comfort zone – and how to do it in 10%-sized baby steps.
