How to handle negative thoughts and emotions at work – infographic
Feeling the January blues? Can’t muster enthusiasm in the office – or anywhere? Here’s how to handle negative thoughts and emotions at work.
Let’s face it, it can be hard to stay positive in January. The days are short and the weather (if you live in the UK at least!) is often foul. It’s also the busiest month of the year for divorce lawyers and contains blue Monday – the most depressing day of the year, apparently.
(If you’re really not in love with your job or even career direction, we recommend taking our Career Audit, a 15-page workbook that guides you through a series of psychological questions and exercises.)
BUT all is not lost. With the right techniques you can learn to handle any negative thoughts and emotions and remain resolutely positive… however cold, dark and wet your morning commute may be!
To help you, Quid Corner have put together this useful infographic with eight practical ways you can improve your emotional agility.
