Even though this is a challenge in itself, having collaborative lawyers really makes all of the difference here, which is something that other firms are not able to say. 

Unlike some of the other firms that we’ve seen, this one seems to genuinely care about coming up with resolutions that work for all parties, not just one involved. They have a fantastic reputation, and that’s always a positive sign. 

Pros

The first thing that we loved about this company is that they are so resolution focused. They want to settle as much as they can without going to court, saving their clients a lot of money, and a lot of stress. 

The next thing that we loved was the fact that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to use this service. They understand that everyone is operating on a different budget, but that this doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the best help possible.

We also loved the fact that this company seems to genuinely care about the clients that they work with, not just the money that can be brought in. 

Cons

One thing we can see being an issue for some people is the fact that they are a resolution based firm – which we have also put in the pros because it can be either. For ultra high-conflict cases, they may not be the best choice. 

It’s also unclear what the exact prices are of using this firm, and this lack of information could be an issue. 

Stowe Family Law LLP

Proud to be rated excellent on TrustPilot, Stowe Family Law is one of the best in the business. Competing directly with some of the other top practices on multiple occasions, this law firm focuses on those who need help with family law issues. 

They offer a tailored approach to ensure that your needs are being met, rather than a one size fits all approach that could end up giving you a result that you’re not interested in achieving. They are also the largest specialized family law team in the UK, meaning that they know what they are doing, and that you can trust them with your needs. 

Pros

One of the best things about this practice is that they are specifically for family law, meaning that all of the solicitors working here are specialists in the area. They are the largest specialist team in the UK, and that’s definitely got to count for something. 

We also love the fact that they have offices nationwide, so they are not limited to a certain area. This is fantastic for those who want to hire someone who has a strong reputation, but doesn’t live in a specific base area.

We also noticed that they have a strong reputation for being willing to litigate, which is something that a lot of other small firms like to avoid. But, if it needs to go to court, this law firm is ready to go there with you. 

Cons

Probably the biggest downside is that they are expensive. Getting legal help is not cheap, and this law firm especially can feel a bit pricey. They are considered a premium price firm, which makes them inaccessible to many.

Of course, it’s true to say that the quality of the help you receive is going to depend on the solicitor that you have for your case. Everyone has a different approach, but this could end up causing you issues if you and your solicitor do not agree on what to do in any situation.

It’s also good to note that they are a more boutique style firm, so it doesn’t feel like you’re working with a big company, it feels like you’re working with someone who cares. 

Pros

We’re going to start with the area we just mentioned and say that we love the fact that it feels more personal than some of the larger firms. For example, clients have access to more senior solicitors, where this is not generally the norm for larger companies.

Speaking of senior lawyers, they are heavily involved with the cases that come through the door, giving each client a higher chance of seeing success. 

Cons

The downside, depending on your priorities, could be that they are a smaller firm than some of the other options. They operate on a smaller scale than those handling large profile and international cases.
