10 pieces of business software you should NEVER use if you want to avoid stress

Want to avoid frustrations and stress at work? Discover the 10 pieces of business software you should NEVER use.

Stress in the workplace is a serious productivity killer, for people and businesses. People who are stressed never perform at their best. They literally can’t; stress impairs our ability to process information, think logically, and make the best decision.

This brain drain is costing US firms an estimated $500billion a year in efficiency and productivity losses.

More importantly, some workers are paying an even bigger price. An American Institute of Stress study found that 120,000 people die every year as a direct result of work-related stress.

Stress is also linked to as many as 90% of serious health conditions, including high blood pressure, Alzheimer’s, obesity, and heart disease.

It’s time to take back control of our workplace stress levels, minimising the impact they have on our professional and personal well-being.

And that’s exactly what this latest study from small business lending company OnDeck is all about.

10 of the worst tools we can use to (try to) get the job done

OnDeck researchers decided to make our (work) lives a little easier to manage by putting together some lists of the best and worst tools we can use to get the job done.

Using data collected from TrustRadius reviews and a sentiment analysis tool called TensiStrength, OnDeck pinpointed the most stressful pieces of popular business software, as well as the least stressful applications that are guaranteed to make the daily grind feel a little less ‘grindy!’

There’s a chart highlighting the most stressful pieces of business software overall, according to the tone of TrustRadius reviews.

The dubious honour of sitting on top of that tree goes to Malwarebytes, an anti-malware software. Nearly 6 out of 10 (!!) of all its reviews were deemed negative, with many unhappy customers ranting about Malwarebytes’ inability to do what it advertises, i.e. spot and remove malware.

You’ll also find a top 10 list of the best (and worse) pieces of business software for payroll, HR, marketing, file management, and more…
