Why big things are happening at Talented Ladies Club

The Talented Ladies Club family has just expanded, with the addition of a new Head of Marketing, Jo Oliver.

Since we launched Talented Ladies Club five and a half years ago, we’ve taken a lean approach to business. While we’ve seen other businesses race ahead, building teams of staff and seeking investment to fast-forward their progress, we’ve taken a much slower path.

So, while our business has grown enormously, it’s still run by a lean, skeleton team of people.

But today we’re proud to announce an exciting new development: we’ve welcomed the talented Jo Oliver as our Head of Marketing.

We’ve known Jo for a while now; in 2016 she worked with us for a few months, helping to create our video celebrating the potential of mothers (you can watch it below).

We’ve always loved Jo’s strategic, creative approach and are delighted she’s joining our team – and will help us to reach even more mothers, and unlock their potential.

Here’s Jo’s bio:

Jo started her career in advertising at The Times and Sunday Times. A passion for travel led to settling in Sydney before completing a BAHons in Digital Art, igniting a love for the online world.

Jo joined e-commerce business Net-a-Porter in its early days as Photography Studio Manager, leading a growing team that expanded from London to New York. The company experienced rapid growth and went on to become the world’s premier online luxury fashion retailer.

Her passion for brand strategy and business inspired Jo to retrain in digital marketing, which allowed her to work flexibly while raising her two children.

In 2016, Jo gained experience at Talented Ladies Club before putting her skills into practice working with various small businesses and start-ups. Successes for clients included an increase in email signups by 45%, a 25% increase in website traffic and increased followers and engagement on social media platforms.

Jo is now thrilled to re-join Talented Ladies Club as Head of Marketing, and is looking forward to growing and developing the company’s future journey and ‘unlocking the potential of mothers’.

We’re enormously excited about the next chapter of Talented Ladies Club, and can’t wait to share our plans with you.
