Brighton NatWest Venus Awards are now open – who will you nominate?
The Brighton and Sussex NatWest Venus Awards are now open for entries. So if you know an inspirational woman (including yourself) who deserves recognition for their work, get nominating!
The Brighton and Sussex NatWest Venus Awards were established in 2009 to recognise women in the business community. They’ve now spread to eight regions around the UK, and the 2014 Brighton and Sussex awards are ready and waiting your nominations.
Awards for inspiring Brighton women
If you know anyone you think worthy of an award, make sure you nominate them soon – you only have until 16th May 2014 to get your nominations in. You can suggest someone you know, someone you admire from afar, or even yourself – as long as they fit in one of the categories.
The awards were founded by business woman and mother of four, Tara Howard. An inspirational lady herself, Tara says:
“It really is inspiring to see how much support and enthusiasm there is for the awards and what a difference they can make. I’ve even had past winners confess to me that the awards have changed their lives – that’s really powerful, and drives me forward to expand, and launch the awards in new regions to recognise more deserving women.”

“We’ve invested a lot into the technology behind the Awards, to make it as quick and simple as possible, for both those nominating and those finding themselves nominated. What better way to thank and celebrate the efforts of the women in your life?”
Men aren’t left out either – the Employer of the year category is also open to men!
