Could you be our new intern?
Talented Ladies Club is entering an exciting growth phase, and we’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic person to join us on our journey.
The role will be based some of the time in our office in Worthing, UK, and some of the time from home. It’s a three-month unpaid internship (we will cover your travel expenses from home), with a view to becoming a paid role if we’re both happy.
In return for your time, we will train and mentor you, and give you opportunities to help you acquire skills, experience and confidence. The idea is that, by the end of the three month period, you’ll have the training and expertise to take a paid role with us, confidently apply for a role you love, or start your own online business. We want this to be a fantastic opportunity for you.
What will you do?
We’re looking for an intern to help us with:
- Social media
- Editing and publishing
- Marketing and PR
You’ll work some of the time in the office with us, but this role is completely flexible, so as long as you keep up with your work, we don’t mind when or where you do it. If you’re right for the role, we’ll discuss with you the best way to structure your workload around your life.
It’s a role that’s ideal for a mum (or dad!) who wants to get back into work, but maybe lacks the confidence or experience to get the kind of role that interests or excites them. Or you may feel that your skills are rusty or out of date, and would love to acquire new skills and reboot your old ones.
It’s also the perfect role for anyone who is looking for the first step on their career ladder, or someone looking to change career direction.
What skills do you need?
Don’t worry if you’re not experienced in any or all of the above. As long as you have common sense, enthusiasm, initiative, a sense of adventure and fun, and good written English, we can and will give you all the training and support you need to be brilliant.
Indeed, that is why this is an intern role. We’ll equip you with all the skills and experience you need, so by the end of your internship you’ll be in a position to take a paid role with us, or seek one elsewhere if you wish. (You’ll also have enough skills to set up a business or freelance career of your own, if that’s something you’d like to do.)
We work in a period building next to a small park, across the road from the sea in Worthing town centre. It’s a small office with between two and three of us and we generally work school hours in it. We’re friendly and laid back. There’s no dress code, and we like listening to music while we work.
We’re looking for someone easygoing but driven. Someone fun and upbeat. Keen to learn and excited about the possibility of this role. And there are huge possibilities for the right person – Talented Ladies Club is going through a period of growth, and we’re ideally looking for someone to join us and grow with us.
As our office is in Worthing, you’ll live within commuting distance.
If you’re interested in the role, please email us and we’ll send you an application form. Please also email us any questions you may have about the role – we’ll be happy to answer them.
