Sara Bran is a writer, content provider and social media trainer though her company Handheld Media.
Sara writes a column on creativity for the Huffington Post and contributes articles on parenting, motherhood, middle-age (and whatever else takes her fancy) to various publications. Her personal blog has been a Netmum’s Blog of the Month and won a coveted WordPress Freshly Pressed award in 2013. Sara is a regular guest blogger at Mumsnet and is the editor of parenting blog Kidstart.
Previously, Sara worked in book publishing, PR, marketing, alternative health, events, and an Internet start-up in San Francisco, although her first job many, many, many years ago, was being a singer/songwriter signed to Sony where she toured the UK and Japan and provided vocals for a TV ad about nappies.
Sara has two daughters, a husband and a cat, and lives in London, although in her head, she lives in LA circa 1969. She has an intense loathing of brass sections but loves the bass and music festivals held in muddy fields.
